An organic business model makes sense right now. But you can still use automation to enhance your business without taking YOU out of the important marketing and sales process. In this blog post, I go over why you want to automate and some things you should automate.

First, let's take a look at some of the reasons why you want to automate.

Efficiency

Automation boosts efficiency. It allows you to get more done faster, both saving you time and energy and enhancing your customer experience. This allows you to spend more time with clients and grow your business. Your time is valuable, so using your time efficiently and effectively can be accomplished through automation.

Life Cycle Marketing

Automation allows you to market to your audience, prospects, and clients in a way that is ongoing but focused on their specific wants and needs. It allows you to attract new leads, as well as nurture existing leads, refine your message to them, and create the know, like, and trust that is vital to getting the sale. It also allows you to nurture existing relationships with both prospects and clients, keep them up-to-date on all the ways you can help them, and add value along the way.

Collecting Data

One of the ways to hone your message, give them what they want and make more sales is to collect data and get feedback. Automation allows you to do these things through polls, questionnaires, and other methods. And this allows you to refine your message and give them an even better experience so that they see you as their go-to person for the problem they have.

Stay Top of Mind

To get sales when your audience is ready you need to stay top of mind. Automation helps you do this through consistent communication that puts you in front of them and reminds them of how you can help them solve a problem or achieve a goal. If you are not consistent and they need help, they will go with who is top of mind for them at that time. So, don't be discouraged if people are not currently buying, because if you do this part properly when they are ready, you will be top of mind!

Things You Can Automate

Launches

If you have ever launched a product or service, then you know how much goes into a launch! You definitely want to have some of this process automated. Automating some of your launches will make the launches run smoother, allow your launch participants to feel supported, and it will save your sanity. Not only that, but you will be able to show up and give more value when you know the back end is supported by automation.

Onboarding

Whether you are onboarding a client, an employee, or someone into a group program, automation allows you to streamline the process and provide an exceptional experience for everyone.

Memberships

If you have a membership program or a subscription service, you probably have some things that happen fairly regularly. These are the things you want to automate. This allows you to spend your time creating more value for your clients and being present for them when they need you to be!

Follow-Up

In business, there are always things you need to follow up on. Whether it is following up with a client, a lead, or an employee. All of these processes can be automated, making them more efficient, saving you time, energy, and possibly money.

Invoicing and Billing

This task can be tedious, but it does not need to be. You can automate your invoicing, making collecting payments easy. In addition to that, if someone does not pay an invoice on time, you can automate the follow-up, making collections less of a headache. You may still need to step in, but the initial process to collect payments can be systematized through automation.

Special Events

Have you ever received a birthday discount from a business and then acted on it? Most people have. And this is why you may want to consider automating this in your business. You can automate birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and other special events. This allows you to put special offers in front of your audience, which prompts them to act and leads to some additional sales for you!
